I am a 28 year old 2nd year teacher who is excited to educate your children.
My husband and I have been married for just over 2 years and we have 4 adorable cats. (despite my love of huskies!) Although we currently live in west Cobb we are looking to move closer to Murdock.
I grew up in the Cobb County School District (CCSD) and graduated from Kennesaw State University with a focus on STEM education. I am currently working towards earning my science endorsement and love to continue learning and growing.
While supporting all of my students’ unique gifts and abilities I believe in rigorous lessons that integrate many subjects so the students make connections beyond the classroom. Inspiring 3rd graders to succeed in all areas of life is a mission that I stand by whole heartedly. Incorporating brain breaks into our daily routine allows my students to reenergize and focus on our goals for the day. I love using technology to liven up the day and empower my students to have their own unique voice.
I can’t wait to get to know all of my students’ families better as the year progresses.
